From the Principal
Welcome to Quinns Rocks Primary School (established 1980). Tradition, stability and an active community presence are the key features that make this a successful school.
A stable core student population in years K-6 of 389, better enables the successful growth in all facets of student development.Specialist programs in Science and Physical Education, complement whole of school programs in Mathematics (Origo Maths), Reading and Spelling. A weekly 0-4 Family Links program, cultural focus and a second language in French, specialist music tuition, a specialist in Dance and Performing Arts and progressive technologies add to the broad range of opportunities presented to students.
The pastoral care emphasis is supported by a consistent approach and provides a settled learning environment for all students. The focus on developmental learning, especially in the early years, caters for all levels of learning maturation and abilities. The school is set among natural scrublands providing a rich setting for environmental studies. The school is green and supports all aspects of recycling and energy conservation.
